BBC's Wimbledon Ad upests children

The BBC has apologised following complaints that its trailer for the Wimbledon tennis tournament was too upsetting for children.

The advert showing a player shattering into tiny fragments as she is hit by a tennis ball has been the subject of 140 complaints since it was first screened 10 days ago.

Pictures of the ad can be seen on The Daily Mail

Reports are coming in that the little kiddy winkies who were upset by the ad, have overcome their trauma by going back to school and playing such innocent childhood games as cowboys and Indians, and dressing up as pirates. They also learned that Robin Hood was a hero, as he only robbed the rich and only fired arrows at people in self defence.
