Paypal introduces new services

PayPal has expanded its Web services by introducing a new software development kit (SDK) to help developers more easily integrate with the PayPal platform.

Available as a free download to members of the PayPal Developer Network, the SDK supports PayPal's application programming interfaces (APIs), including seven new APIs required to integrate PayPal's new product for small to medium sized businesses, Website Payments Pro.

Website Payments Pro features two payment functions that require Web services integration with the PayPal platform: Express Checkout and Direct Payments. It also features a series of new tools that make it easier for merchants to authorize and settle payments according to their own business requirements.
