South Korean government to support only viable SMEs

The South Korean government will in future, only support competitive small and midsize companies that manufacture high-technology goods.

Following a meeting presided over by President Roh Moo-hyun, The Ministry of Finance and Economy, said that approximately 80 percent of the funds earmarked for SMEs, will go to firms with a technological edge.
