Advertising: Five Indians jailed for glorifying Bin Laden in ad campaign

An Indian court has jailed five employees of insurance firm ICICI Prudential Insurance, for sedition after they glorified Osama bin Laden in a sales campaign.

No doubt after the obligatory brainstorming session, the five sales gurus came up with the blue sky idea of calling the internal campaign, "Mission Jehad".

You would think that was bad enough - but wait - there's more. They then addressed sales agents as "Dear terrorists" and compared selling life insurance policies to killing people.

To complete the theme, they then displayed motivational posters "signed" by Bin Laden, "Kill 10, take a branded T-shirt and be the best terrorist in the group."

It is not clear how long the employees will remain in jail.
