Beverages: China to hold Munich style beer festival

Organizers of the 2005 International Beer Festival being held in Dalian, China have said the event will feature characteristics of the Munich festival.

There will be a Munich beer tent, Munich style decorations, German-style wooden chairs, German cooks and German bands.

The festival has attracted 30 international and domestic beer manufacturers, with over 100 kinds of beer.

Dalian is situated in the coastal region of the Bohai Sea. It's sister cities include Houston and Oakland in the U.S, Vancouver in Canada and Glasgow in the U.K.

Date: July 28 to August 8.
