International Development: Indonesia to host Asia-Pacific ministerial meeting

Indonesia will host the Asia-Pacific ministerial meeting on the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) at the Jakarta Convention Center from Aug. 3 to Aug. 5.

Strategies for the region to accomplish the MDGs would be called, "The Jakarta Declaration."

The declaration will be brought for discussion in the high-level plenary meeting, at the 60th UN General Assembly Summit in September,
