Internet: Syria's Internet market set to grow

The Arab Advisors Group predicts that Syria’s Internet subscribers will grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 24.9% between 2004 and 2009 reaching around 507,000 Internet subscribers in 2009.

Progress has been delayed because of the effect of U.S. sanctions. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have seen that sentence.
