Mergers: Sony eyes long term partnership with Samsung

Samsung's image has changed and after seeing Samsungs growth, Sony are now proposing a long term partnership.

Sony has started to negotiate with Samsung to save some of its production divisions that are having financial problems.

The two companies have already invested $2 billion into a facility from South Korea, which will produce liquid crystal displays.
