India has it's eye on the US and UK health service market. Dr Raghunath of Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore has said,

"The United States and United Kingdom markets are huge and our scientific community is highly regarded. The present business in outsourcing of pathological samples is just a tip of the iceberg,"

"In fact, the UK market for pathology tests is around 3.5 billion pounds. Out of this, some 15-40 per cent is outsourceable."

In addition, India is introducing a new visa category for an increasing number of overseas people seeking low-cost long-term medical treatment.India attracts many foreigners, especially from neighbouring countries and the Middle East, who want low-cost specialty treatment.
