Advertising: Lucille Ball tops Q Score as America's best loved dead star

Lucille Ball has topped a poll as America's most beloved dead star.

Her rating is based on what is know as the"Q score" a system that broadcasters and advertisers use to gauge a celebrities popularity.

Bob Hope, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Red Skelton are nest in line, with Tom Hanks being the most popular recent star.

The test is conducted by Marketing Evaluations, Inc
