Blogging: Is Blogger blocking NewsNow?

Along with other bloggers, my headlines appear on NewsNow's free aggregation service - a service I have used professionally for many years.

I have received an email from NewsNow informing me that they have recently become aware that Blogger.com have started blocking their news spider from scanning sites which are hosted on BlogSpot.com.

NewsNow have contacted Blogger.com but as yet have not been able to resolve this issue.I guess it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why the Google owned service is blocking NewsNow.

My blog has been in existence less than three months and I chose Blogger as a temporary measure while I familiarise myself with the concept, experiment and decide which direction I want to go - or even if I want to continue with a company blog.

This latest development makes the decision a lot easier. All I have to do now is find the time!
