Defence: Tajikistan holds chemical weapons seminar

A seminar on the practical application of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and their Destruction (CCW) in Central Asia is being held in the capital of Tajikistan.

The seminar will introduce the main provisions of the convention to local authorities, including those from Tajikistan and Afghanistan, and teach them the methods of preventing the proliferation of chemical weapons and their components.
