Energy: US to hold Caspian Basin Energy Security conference

The U.S. Department of Defense plans to hold an international conference on Energy Security in the Caspian Basin from September 26-28 in the south German city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

More than 50 energy security experts from 10 nations plus NATO officials will attend the conference aimed at promoting cooperation between Western countries and Caspian littoral states.
