A lovely crisp Sunday morning here in Sydney and after a day off work, I feel ready to roll.
Locally not too much is happening apart from Russel Crowe knocking back a $250,000 wager on the outcome of a rugby league game. Crowe has always been an avid supporter of South Sydney Rugby league team.
Crowe attracts a lot of criticism overseas, but little is made of the low profile good work he does here supporting local and often unfashionable causes.
On the subject of sports mad Aussie celebrities, Anthony LaPaglia has persuaded Jerry Bruckheimer to commission an episode of "Without A Trace" be shot in Japan when his club Sydney FC, play in the FIFA soccer Club World Championship.
