Human Resources: Beware of the toilets - Telstra may be watching you

news.com.au reports that Telstra, Australia's national telco, has authorised the collection of personal files on its staff.

This includes: sexual preferences, race, religious and political beliefs.

The Australian also reports that Telstra has authorised in-house surveillance, monitoring of email correspondence, Internet and telephone accounts.

Toilets, showers, changing room and locker rooms can be monitored with approval from senior security staff.
