Human Resources: Britain's trade unions yearn for Victorian era

The Trades Union Congress has claimed that British employees were better off in the Victorian era.

According to the TUC, up to 11 million workers face serious health problems due to prolonged periods of standing whilst at work, according to the Trades Union Congress (TUC).

In the latest edition of its health and safety magazine, they allege that shop and factory workers are taking over 2 million sick days each year, with almost 200,000 complaining that the maladies were caused or made worse by their jobs.

I would just love to see a Victorian era worker transported to modern day Britain and be told he had it easy
