International Development: Brazil gets world's first International Poverty Center

Brazil is to the world's only International Poverty Center. The center will produce global studies and a initiate network of researchers focusing on poverty.

The official inauguration of the center took place last Monday in Brasília, at the opening of the international conference, The Many Dimensions of Poverty.
