International Development: Paul Wolfowitz hits out at corruption in Bangladesh

World Bank president Paul Wolfowitz has hit out at corruption in Bangladesh which he claims is threatening future funding for major projects.

"We can't commit money unless we're convinced it is going to be spent in the right way," he said following a meeting with Finance Minister M. Saifur Rahman.

Bangladesh is the banks third largest recipient of low-interest loans.
