International Development: Taiwan's NGO bribery scandal

The Financial Express reports that Taiwanese Vice President Annette Lu has dismissed new allegations that her government had bribed leading politicians in some Latin American countries for their diplomatic support.

Allegations of illicit donations have marred the upcoming launch of an NGO set up by Lu and grouping Taiwan's diplomatic allies in Latin America and the Pacific with representatives from the United States, Japan and Australia.
