Narcotics: 2,799 kg of drugs seized in Iran

Police in Sistan-o-Baluchestan Province have seized 2,799 kg of narcotics. As a result of the seizure, 91 traffickers were arrested and handed to judicial authorities, who probably wont get quite the same treatment as they would in New South Wales.

Iran is a key route for southwest Asian drugs on their way to the European and Persian Gulf market.
