Social: 14 day old baby evicted from Nigeria Airways residence

Vanguard reports that a 14 days old baby girl in Nigeria, has been living in the open in bad weather and plagued by mosquitoes, after her parents were forcibly evicted from their official residence as Nigeria Airways staff.

Last Thursday afternoon, 30 armed policemen, acting on the orders of Nigeria Airways' liquidator, Babington Ashaye and Co., stormed their residence and forced them out of their homes.

Other babies ranging from four to six weeks were also evicted with their parents from other apartments occupied by Nigeria Airways staff on the same street. Residents were given 20 minutes to leave.
