Trade: United States told to comply with WTO ruling on Internet gambling services

The World Trade Organization has given the United States until April 3 2006 to comply with a ruling that a ban on Internet gambling services offered by Antigua violates the body's rules.

U.S. officials had wanted a July deadline but the U.S. is increasingly discovering that they can't always get what they demand these days.

The case was brought by Antigua & Barbuda that has invested heavily in the electronic gambling industry to boost its economy and job opportunities.
