Advertising: Dead US soldiers used in German election campaign poster

Rolf Schwanitz, minister of state in Gerhard Schroder's chancellery, has put up posters depicting the coffins of dead US soldiers lined up in a cargo plane. In a reference to Schroeder's conservative challenger, Christian Democratic Union (CDU) leader Angela Merkel, the posters carry the slogan, "She would have sent soldiers."
