Defence: U.S to give $2 million to help destroy Ukraine's air defence launchers

The U.S. Congress has allocated more than $2 million to help Ukraine destroy thousands of tons of obsolete weapons and air defence launchers.

The program was announced by Senator Richard Lugar, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee, while visiting Donetsk. The funding is coming from NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
