Energy: Russian concern lands $30 million deal with Vietnam

Russia's Silovye Mashiny (Power Machines,) has scored a $30 million deal with to design and equip Vietnam's Plei Krong Hydroelectric Power Plant's turbine room with two 55-megawatt units.

The company beat off bids from DongFang Electric Corp (China) and Ukrinterenergo (Ukraine).

The Russian concern is made up of several industrial manufacturers and supply's 87 countries.
