European Union: Swiss set to vote on immigrant workers

Voters in Switzerland will go to the polls on September 25 to decide whether to make it easier for immigrant workers from eastern European nations to get jobs in Switzerland.

A "no" vote could jeopardize deals with Brussels and hinder Swiss companies trading in EU countries. However, many Swiss workers are worried for their jobs and support for a "no" vote is growing.
