That wraps up the mornings posts!It's a beautiful Sunday morning here and as you can see by the photograph, the birds are enjoying it as well. This is a lorikeet, and I spotted it as I went to buy the Sunday newspaper.
These birds are common in my suburb and very friendly. They will sit on my balcony looking into the lounge room. They will also sit on your hand or shoulder.
They are sometimes referred to as schoolgirls - and if you ever hear a bunch of them together - you will know why!
