Human Resources: 20 million Indians expected to sign up for new job plan

Nearly 20 million Indians are expected to register in the first stage of a plan which promises 100 days of employment a year to every rural family in the country.

The program will start in 200 districts and cost $11 billion a year when implemented in all 600 districts of the country. State governments will fund 10% of the cost of the plan.
