Human Resources: Cabinet Minister says Zimbabwe's education system builds strong HR base

Zimbabwe's Education, Sport and Culture Minister, Cde Aneas Chigwedere, has said that Zimbabwe's education system is tailor-made to build a strong human resource base providing the country with enough skills to deal with national challenges.

Addressing soldiers attending the Joint Command and Staff Course Number 18, he added: "It is the fundamental function of my ministry, to ensure that every citizen of this country is afforded the opportunity to learn."

No doubt he thinks it important for every citizen to have a decent education so that they can understand what is happening when soldiers and bulldozers tear down their homes.
