Human Resources: One in five UK companies recruit overseas workers

A survey by CBI Pertemps Employment Trends, reveals that one in five British companies have recruited staff from overseas during the last year.

Overseas recruitment includes skilled, unskilled, technical and managerial positions.

The retail and hospitality sectors were the biggest importers of foreign labour, with over fifty per cent of companies choosing to look overseas.
