International Development: Denmark ranked 1st in helping development in poor countries

According to US think tank, the Centre for Global Development, Denmark tops a list of 21 wealthy nations helping development in poor countries.

Based on policies on aid, trade, investment, migration, environment, security and technology, Denmark beat the Netherlands (2nd) Sweden (3rd) and Australia (4th).

Britain tied with Canada for 10th position and the US came in 12th. Japan got the wooden spoon.
