Katrina: FEMA leases Biloxi's Imperial Palace hotel

Brandon M.Bickerstaff, from the Sun Herlad (Biloxi Mississipi,) reports that the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has leased Biloxi's Imperial Palace hotel to serve as its local operations center.

Emergency operations in the state will continue to be headquartered in Jackson. However, the Imperial Palace will provide the agency immediate access to the areas most affected by Hurricane Katrina.
