Katrina: The God Squad blames the gays

An organisation of Christian fundamentalists claims the destruction brought on by Hurricane Katrina is God's judgment against New Orleans for holding festivals like the annual gay Southern Decadence party.

If that were the case, then Sydney would be next on the list, as our annual Gay and Lesbian Mardis Gras is recognised as the biggest and most successful event of it's kind.

Have no fear Sydney, George Bush will take care of everything as successfully as he did in New Orleans and Baghdad.
