Katrina: Prague offers aid in restoring New Orleans cultural heritage

Prague city council, is offering aid to restore New Orleans cultural heritage. A spokesman for the council said 16 million koruna ($1=CZK23.88) has been set aside for restoration work that may include art works, archive materials and historical buildings.

The Czechs gained a lot of experience in restoring old buildings, art works, prints and other historical items during the severe flooding that hit Prague three years ago.
