Tourism: Enjoy a night in a Malaysian prison

A Malaysian prison is offering travellers the chance to experience prison life, including prison food and lack of toilets. Visitors will stay in a cell with a mattress but no pillow.

Johor Baru prison, Malaysia's oldest, has been turned into a visitor's centre and is offering an overnight package for 50 ringgit ($17).

So far there have been no takers - something that has been blamed on "lack of publicity."

Maybe if they throw in a few canings, they may increase demand!
