Trade: Korean company faces sanctions for selling strategic materials to Iran

The international community is likely to impose sanctions on a Korean company, after Korea's Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy, confirmed that rumours that it illegally exported strategic materials to Iran, were true.

An investigation found that company K, a radioactive materials company, had sold tritium, nickel 63 and iridium, which can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons, to Iran at the end of last year.
