Trade: North and South Korea open joint business office

In a bid to increase trade between the two countries, South and North Korea are to open their first joint business office next month in the North.
North Korea had also invited more than 170 South Koreans to attend an investor relations event in October.

The business office is to open inside the Kaesong complex where a few South Korean manufacturers have set up operations to take advantage of a more cost effective work force. The office will be staffed by 16 South Korean and 12 North Korean economic officials.
