With the tagline, "The new AOL.com. Now Open to Everyone", AOL has launched a $50 million ad campaign.
Although much of the campaign budget is being spent on online advertising, AOL have erected a giant video billboard on the Reuters Building in Times Square, and another advertising AOLmusic.com will soon appear at the Marriott Marquis hotel.
Some may say they would be better off spending some of that budget on customer service.
