American History: The image collection of the Farm Security Agency

If you are interested in American History, the image collection of the Farm Security Agency is an excellent source of incredible images. The photographs are taken by photographers who worked for the Farm Security Agency, a unit created by Roosevelt as a propaganda machine to enlist support for reforms.

The Library of Congress advises that photographs in this collection were taken by photographers working for the U.S. Government. Generally speaking, works created by U.S. Government employees are not eligible for copyright protection in the United States.
