Construction: Halliburton subsidiary expected to build Irish tunnel

Kellogg Brown & Root Ltd, a subsidiary of the Halliburton group, is one of the group called Direct Route, expected to be awarded the contract to build the new Shannon tunnel and approach roads.

Construction on the 900m tunnel under the Shannon, is expected to start next spring. Kellogg Brown & Root Ltd is also a player in the Dublin Port Tunnel and the Fermoy bypass.
