Consumer: Good news for beetroot lovers!

British grocery outfit Sainsbury's, has launched a non-staining golden-colored beetroot. The vegetable apparently has a more delicate flavour than red and is slightly sweeter.

The idea behind having a golden-colored beetroot is simple - it is eye catching and encourages kids to eat more vegetables. So did a clip across the ear but I digress.

According to Sainsbury's it is also packed with goodness and it doesn't stain like red beetroot. I see one thing wrong with golden-colored beetroot. It's bloody golden!
