Defense: China donates $3 million of military equipment to Nigeria

China has donated $3 million worth of military equipment to Nigeria. In addition, a team of 21 members from a Chinese training team will train Nigerian personnel in the use of the equipment. Items donated include computers, air field sweepers' vehicles, emergency navigational and light vehicles, uniforms, deep sea diving equipment, parachutes, helmets, caps, rain coats and bullet proof vests. I am not quite sure how you train someone to use a raincoat.

Nigeria has also purchased a 12 F -7N, multi- role aircraft and 2 (No.) F-7 Training aircraft from China.
