Economy: Sri Lanka needs 8 per cent economic growth to make poverty history

According to reports in the Daily News, Sri Lanka's Finance Minister Sarath Amunugama, has said that in order to eliminate poverty the country needs to maintain an 8 percent economic growth at least 10 years. He also said the country can not achieve this without peace and harmony in the country.
