Education: China holds first International Forum on Children's Development

The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the United Nations International Childrens' Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is holding the first International Forum on Children's Development from Oct. 29 to 31 in Beijing.

"Children in the 21st Century and the Sustainable Development of Society," will focus on topics such as "the quality of children's development," "children's education, sexual difference and cultures" and "children's protection and their rights".

This is the part I like. Each of the topics will have two child representatives who attended a training course prior to the forum, so that they could freely express ideas during the meeting.
