Entrepreneurship: Muslim women should embrace entrepreneurship

Muslim women have been encouraged to embrace entrepreneurship by Datuk Dr Norraesah Mohamed, chairman of Alcatel Network Systems.

"The Muslim world is a consumer country. For a country like Malaysia which is a manufacturing country, this is a blessing for us," she said in a speech at "The Emerging Potential of Muslim Women in the 21st Century".

She added that, "There are two kinds of mindset that usually pose a barrier to Muslim women. That is the mindset of men and the mindset of themselves."
