Human Resources: New sexual harassment laws come into force in U.K.

New rules have come into force in the U.K. that make it easier for women to prevent inappropriate behaviour and offensive and lewd remarks in the workplace.

Women who are sexually harassed at work no longer need to show that a man would have been treated differently, they need only prove they were treated in a way relating to their sex which violated their dignity, or was intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive.

A bit like the way employers are treated by trade unions.
