Insurance: Algeria's Sonatrach pays $6 billion to insure oil fields and installations

UPI reports that Algeria's government owned oil company Sonatrach, paid more than $6 billion in annual premiums to insure its oil fields and strategic installations against technical and human accidents. Of that figure, $300 million was spent on monitoring the safety of gas refineries.
