Outsourcing: Brits hostile to overseas call centres

According to Harris Interactive, the British are increasingly hostile to overseas call-centre. However, many of those who have negative perceptions have never knowingly used an overseas call centre.

Incidentally, the call centre for my local Lane Cove tunnel project, is in Indonesia. I have never experienced a problem, but then I tend to be more open minded and realistic than those who complain without substance.

The bottom line is overseas call centres are highly cost effective - there is no way I would establish a call centre or advise any client, to open a call centre in an over paid, over pampered labor market.
