Prostitutes in Vietnam's capital Hanoi, capital will be manged online with information stored interconnected computers.
Nguyen Vi Hung, head of the Hanoi Anti-Social Evil Bureau, said that when arrested, prostitutes will fill in a form which along with their most recent photos, will be stored in computer networks accessible to all relevant agencies.
Computerized records will help agencies prove the "operation frequency" of prostitutes. Currently agencies can only fine the prostitutes 50,000 Vietnamese dong ($3.2 US dollars) and then release them after detaining them but failing to prove that they engage in prostitution frequently.
Vietnam has around 13,000 prostitutes, with 3,000 in Hanoi.
