Terrorism: 9/11 conspiracy theories debated on Iranian TV

For those of you are interested in conspiracy theories, The Israel Hasbara Committee reports on a debate on 9/11 conspiracy theories aired on Iranian TV.

Quote from the IHC web site: "The terrorist acts of 9/11 continue baffle the Arab world, giving rise to numerous conspiracy theories, generally pointing to the Zionist entity. In this TV debate with filmmaker Nader Talebsadeh and senior correspondent Bizhan Nowbaveh, similar ideas are bandied about. Without saying it in so many words, Talebsadeh, Nowbaveh and the show host strongly imply that Zionists were responsible for 9/11, seeing as 4,000 Jews decided not to show up to work at the World Trade Center that day. (This is a fabricated fact to make a case when none exists)."

You can read a transcript of the debate on the The Middle East Media Research web site.

Although I never believe that any issue is ever black and white, my professional analysis of what is said in the debate is that the ideas put forward by one of the participants is what is technically known as, "a load of old cobblers."
